A few basketball housekeeping reminders:

14 May by Leongatha Basketball

As a busy season of basketball gets underway, we’d like to remind everyone of a few important venue guidelines to help keep things safe, respectful, and enjoyable for all users of the stadium:

🏀Please leave your basketballs at home – we have enough in circulation for warm up and games.

🚪Avoid standing in doorways or at the ends of the courts – there’s plenty of seating in the grandstands with great views of both courts. This keeps the doorway clear for people to enter and exit comfortably. It also helps to ensure that those playing the game and not impacted by excessive congregation at the end of their court.

⚽️Respect shared spaces and equipment – do not hang off or throw basketballs onto the soccer goals and other user groups equipment.

👀Keep an eye on little ones – please don’t allow children to play in the curtains, run in the foyer, or head into changerooms unsupervised.

🏃‍♂️The corridor to the toilets is not a racing track, and this is a shared facility with the general public.

🏀We know the stadium can be hectic at times – following these simple guidelines goes a long way in helping create a smoother, more enjoyable space for everyone.

Thanks for your continued support and cooperation!
